i have seen this pop up on a few movie sites over the past few days, how great would it be if it came true!

Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash?: Creature Corner reports that New Line is already hard at work on developing potential sequel ideas to their current team-up project and there's already a theory - "Reliable sources have revealed that one of the current ideas being tossed around includes a scenario where Freddy and Jason would team-up against a common enemy: Bruce Campbell as Ash from the "Evil Dead" films. As crazy as it might sound, this concept has apparently been met with a great deal of enthusiasm in the upper-echelons of New Line Cinema. While it's impossible to predict what sort of "unknowns" might prevent this concept from seeing the light of day (like, say, the rights holders of the "Evil Dead" series or Campbell himself saying no) it's interesting to know that New Line is at least considering what could turn out to be many a fanboy's dream team-up "plus one" for the not-to-distant future".

i'm sure it would just turn out to be a bad wrestling movie.

i blame Alien vs Predator which was tossed around as a film concept before making it to a computer game.

hmmm, whatever happened to that Doom movie we were promised ....

they should just do Star Trek vs Star Wars and find all new lows in movie making concepts.

Sorry, but I find the whole X vs Y thang incredibly dull, but perhaps just because I'm old.

and isnt Paul anderson (solider, mortal kombat) doing Alien V Pred,

Cash you are indeed correct. After ruining the Resident Evil franchise he has chosen to move onto the alien series. Although you cant get worse than 4 can you.

As long as we're on the subject of crossovers, check this out if you haven't seen it.

    You may find it interesting.

As far as Ash vs. Freddy & Jason, I'm not sure what type of gizmo Ash could strap to his arm to make that a credible battle (A phased plasma rifle....hey, just what you see on the wall).

Nightmare on Elm Street got cr?p after the first one, so did Friday the 13th (although I thought they were cool when I was 15). I saw Evil Dead for the first time a couple of years ago and thought it looked like a really bad student film (although I haven?t seen the sequels). Freddy vs Jason doesn?t interest me one bit. Nor will a Freddy vs Jason vs muppet who can?t act from Evil Dead. Hollywood has really gone down the pan in the last couple of years. Just look at what they?ve done to the Terminator.
